Maastricht University stands at #29 of 1,195 universities worldwide on the Health Professions collaboration index, the strongest of its 26 subject standings in the 2026 Research Collaboration Index, published today.

The standing rests on the open scholarly record: 1,560 co-authored works in the field over 2021 to 2025, built with 452 collaborating institutions across 62 countries, with a field-weighted citation impact of 3.29.

Maastricht University holds Gold standing overall, at #197 in the world.
