Research at Lodz University of Technology is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 639 institutions in 71 countries, and international collaborators appear on 23% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with University of Łódź in Poland, at 567 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 11,362 co-authored works.
