Lanzhou University's research now spans 74 countries

Research at Lanzhou University is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 1,011 institutions in 74 countries, and international collaborators appear on 20% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in China, at 2,221 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 45,558 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
