Lampung University's research now spans 50 countries
Research at Lampung University is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 242 institutions in 50 countries, and international collaborators appear on 3% of its output.
Its largest single research relationship is with Universitas Gadjah Mada in Indonesia, at 162 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 17,854 co-authored works.
Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
The Research Collaboration Index, the first global account of how universities actually collaborate, publishes its first full edition on Tuesday 15 September at 09:00 UK.
Every figure derives from the open global research record and is checkable at source.
