La Trobe University's research now spans 78 countries

Research at La Trobe University is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 1,107 institutions in 78 countries, and international collaborators appear on 28% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with The University of Melbourne in Australia, at 3,286 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 37,333 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
