Kyoto University stands at #113 of 1,195 universities worldwide on the Psychology collaboration index, the strongest of its 26 subject standings in the 2026 Research Collaboration Index, published today.

The standing rests on the open scholarly record: 1,222 co-authored works in the field over 2021 to 2025, built with 569 collaborating institutions across 68 countries, with a field-weighted citation impact of 2.55.

Kyoto University holds Gold standing overall, at #281 in the world.
