KU Leuven: #1 in the world for Health Professions collaboration

KU Leuven stands at #1 of 1,195 universities worldwide on the Health Professions collaboration index, the strongest of its 26 subject standings in the 2026 Research Collaboration Index, published today.

The standing rests on the open scholarly record: 1,402 co-authored works in the field over 2021 to 2025, built with 505 collaborating institutions across 63 countries, with a field-weighted citation impact of 4.32.

KU Leuven holds Platinum standing overall, at #22 in the world.
