Korea University's research now spans 78 countries

Research at Korea University is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 1,109 institutions in 78 countries, and international collaborators appear on 27% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Seoul National University in South Korea, at 4,439 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 36,231 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.

The Research Collaboration Index, the first global account of how universities actually collaborate, publishes its first full edition on Tuesday 15 September at 09:00 UK.
