Keio University's research now spans 71 countries

Research at Keio University is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 990 institutions in 71 countries, and international collaborators appear on 21% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with The University of Tokyo in Japan, at 3,659 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 26,308 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
