Karolinska Institutet's research now spans 81 countries

Research at Karolinska Institutet is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 1,132 institutions in 81 countries, and international collaborators appear on 64% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Uppsala University in Sweden, at 5,597 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 65,280 co-authored works.
