Jagiellonian University's research now spans 79 countries

Research at Jagiellonian University is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 1,101 institutions in 79 countries, and international collaborators appear on 31% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with AGH University of Krakow in Poland, at 4,154 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 42,497 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
