Research at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 900 institutions in 75 countries, and international collaborators appear on 24% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with All India Institute of Medical Sciences in India, at 657 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 25,474 co-authored works.
