Imperial College London stands at #3 of 1,195 universities worldwide on the Medicine collaboration index, the strongest of its 26 subject standings in the 2026 Research Collaboration Index, published today.

The standing rests on the open scholarly record: 26,914 co-authored works in the field over 2021 to 2025, built with 1,068 collaborating institutions across 80 countries, with a field-weighted citation impact of 3.7.

Imperial College London holds Platinum standing overall, at #13 in the world.
