The standing rests on the open scholarly record: 187 co-authored works in the field over 2021 to 2025, built with 134 collaborating institutions across 20 countries, with a field-weighted citation impact of 2.52.

Hong Kong University of Science and Technology holds Gold standing overall, at #167 in the world.
