Research at Hong Kong Baptist University is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 969 institutions in 73 countries, and international collaborators appear on 69% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Chinese University of Hong Kong in Hong Kong SAR, at 1,819 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 14,493 co-authored works.
