Hainan University stands at #127 of 1,195 universities worldwide on the Energy collaboration index, the strongest of its 26 subject standings in the 2026 Research Collaboration Index, published today.

The standing rests on the open scholarly record: 869 co-authored works in the field over 2021 to 2025, built with 214 collaborating institutions across 34 countries, with a field-weighted citation impact of 2.07.

Hainan University holds Silver standing overall, at #548 in the world.
