Griffith University stands at #29 of 1,195 universities worldwide on the Social Sciences collaboration index, the strongest of its 26 subject standings in the 2026 Research Collaboration Index, published today.

The standing rests on the open scholarly record: 3,322 co-authored works in the field over 2021 to 2025, built with 605 collaborating institutions across 64 countries, with a field-weighted citation impact of 6.93.

Griffith University holds Gold standing overall, at #128 in the world.
