The standing rests on the open scholarly record: 251 co-authored works in the field over 2021 to 2025, built with 132 collaborating institutions across 37 countries, with a field-weighted citation impact of 3.84.

Goethe University Frankfurt holds Gold standing overall, at #163 in the world.
