Ghent University: #6 in the world for Veterinary collaboration

Ghent University stands at #6 of 1,195 universities worldwide on the Veterinary collaboration index, the strongest of its 26 subject standings in the 2026 Research Collaboration Index, published today.

The standing rests on the open scholarly record: 303 co-authored works in the field over 2021 to 2025, built with 90 collaborating institutions across 29 countries, with a field-weighted citation impact of 2.81.

Ghent University holds Platinum standing overall, at #65 in the world.
