ETH Zurich: #2 in the world for Agricultural & Biological Sciences collaboration

ETH Zurich stands at #2 of 1,195 universities worldwide on the Agricultural & Biological Sciences collaboration index, the strongest of its 26 subject standings in the 2026 Research Collaboration Index, published today.

The standing rests on the open scholarly record: 2,559 co-authored works in the field over 2021 to 2025, built with 680 collaborating institutions across 66 countries, with a field-weighted citation impact of 4.8.

ETH Zurich holds Platinum standing overall, at #48 in the world.
