Duke University stands at #24 of 1,195 universities worldwide on the Medicine collaboration index, the strongest of its 26 subject standings in the 2026 Research Collaboration Index, published today.

The standing rests on the open scholarly record: 28,911 co-authored works in the field over 2021 to 2025, built with 1,050 collaborating institutions across 80 countries, with a field-weighted citation impact of 2.98.

Duke University holds Platinum standing overall, at #21 in the world.
