COMSATS University Islamabad's research now spans 77 countries

Research at COMSATS University Islamabad is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 964 institutions in 77 countries, and international collaborators appear on 55% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with King Saud University in Saudi Arabia, at 1,170 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 22,354 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
