Research at China University of Geosciences is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 953 institutions in 74 countries, and international collaborators appear on 29% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Wuhan University in China, at 1,391 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 30,932 co-authored works.
