Research at Catholic University of America is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 762 institutions in 67 countries, and international collaborators appear on 49% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with KU Leuven in Belgium, at 295 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 4,887 co-authored works.
