Binghamton University's research now spans 65 countries

Research at Binghamton University is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 853 institutions in 65 countries, and international collaborators appear on 23% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Pennsylvania State University in United States, at 137 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 8,562 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
