Assiut University's research now spans 74 countries

Research at Assiut University is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 938 institutions in 74 countries, and international collaborators appear on 38% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Al-Azhar University in Egypt, at 1,764 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 18,925 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
