Alexandria University's research now spans 76 countries

Research at Alexandria University is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 1,015 institutions in 76 countries, and international collaborators appear on 35% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Cairo University in Egypt, at 1,688 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 30,675 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
