Ain Shams University's research now spans 79 countries

Research at Ain Shams University is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 1,022 institutions in 79 countries, and international collaborators appear on 23% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Cairo University in Egypt, at 2,805 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 38,595 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
