Windak is a world leading specialist in cable packaging machinery originating in Sweden 1994. Our first client was Volvo for a complete pallet handling packaging system. Since our inception to the present day our innovative technologies include high speed rewind lines for fiber optic cable, fully automatic spooling lines, versatile coiling lines, a multitude of palletizers and breakthrough coiling solutions for packaging cable products into boxes or bags. We have delivered our products to 30 countries worldwide and our customers are amongst the leaders of industry. We are proud to announce that we have a 60% market share in the North American market. We strive for innovative products and we have the next generation product, the ZERO260. Operationally it outperforms everything else on the market in several key areas. We have managed to double operational capacity, reduce the machinery footprint to one-third and allow for continuous, uninterrupted production as our machine does not need to be switched off during cable changeovers. The technical competencies are described in greater detail in the main proposal and we feel this will enable us to stay ahead of the competition. More importantly, this allows Europe to maintain its market dominance in the sector and mitigate the threat from Taiwan, China and India.
