PRIME-ARI is a coordinated initiative led by major European Research Infrastructures (RIs) in the physical sciences and engineering domain, aiming to strengthen the professional capacity and operational excellence of technical staff involved in the lifecycle of Very Large Research Infrastructures (VLRIs). The project responds to the growing demand for advanced skills in project management, systems engineering, financial oversight, in-kind contribution coordination, engineering, procurement, logistics, digital, and workforce mobility. In line with EU policy priorities and the green and digital transitions, PRIME-ARI will also integrate cross-cutting themes such as artificial intelligence, research data management, and enhanced remote access into its training offerings. Through a combination of modular curricula, practical case-based learning, and inter-infrastructure knowledge exchange, the project will deliver a flexible, transferable training framework tailored to the evolving needs of RI operators and technical personnel.
