MM · Mister Maginky The new product which solves men’s incontinency problem

H2020Status: CLOSED1 May 201831 October 2018EU funding €50,000Call H2020-EIC-SMEInst-2018-2020

Mister Maginsky is a revolutionary underwear product brand that allows men more comfort and hygiene by organising and following men’s genital anatomy. Besides that it has patented the underware made for the problem of men’s urinary incontinence, by bringing a small diaper pad into the special compartment (separate space for genitals) of the underwear which would prevent urine leaking. The incontinence solution that shall be commercialized under different brand and distribution channels shares the patented underwear solution as foundation but is also separately patented together with the incontinence pads as a unique product. In November, 2016 USPTO issued a new patent for the complete incontinence product. This means the company will have exclusivity on the under-wear supporting the incontinence pad and on the pads also. This is substantial from the business model point of view as the incontinence pads are removable, expandable and used in large quantities (no need to buy the supporting underwear each time, but new pads are needed thus being more affordable to customers). The incontinence solution also has pending registration in EPO countries, Australia and Canada with first positive answers by the examiners. The product is recognized to be set as a unique business model that works on global and mass market, with the target group of men different ages.
