eDCaseMAN · Defendable legal cases through an affordable, easy, integrated and reliable case management software

H2020Status: CLOSED1 May 201830 September 2018EU funding €50,000Call H2020-EIC-SMEInst-2018-2020

Electronic discovery (known as e-discovery) is the electronic aspect of identifying, collecting and producing electronically stored information (ESI) in response to a request in a lawsuit or investigation. The Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) is the stablished and accepted framework by e-discovery practitioners. Commonly, the ""left-hand side"" of EDRM is used to refer to the steps containing information governance, identification, preservation and collection through legal hold requests (Hold/Preserve/Collect) and the ""right-hand side"" refers to processing, review, analysis, production and presentation (Processing/ Review/Production). Currently the market offers solutions to right-hand side of the EDRM model at the expense of the left-hand side. However, this forgotten part of e-discovery process is complex and offers multiple opportunities for errors. These errors increase operational costs, lead to potentially expensive sanctions, adversely affect the organization’s reputation and negatively affect employee morale. Fortunately, our product – eDCaseMAN – can mitigate the chaos by transforming the left-hand side of the e-discovery into a mature business process. eDCaseMAN is an intelligent, integrated evidence management software solution that solves the administrative e-discovery process challenges. For the first time ever, case managers will be able to track, trace and monitor all activities anywhere on any device at any time. We are looking for an SME future SME instrument grant of €1,050,000 to fund product development, develop our IP strategy and run pilot tests. Before this, our company plans to use phase 1 funding to plan a fast, sound and global deployment of eDCaseMAN.""
