Data is a crucial asset to every organization; for supporting internal processes and for showing the way to new business models. In order to support informed business decisions making, data is aggregated from operational systems in painstaking ETL processes that deliver information to BI tools. Those processes are becoming so complex that they cause of confidence in reported and predicted information. Not only the initial cost of an ETL/BI solution is very high but data scientists spend 80% of their time preparing and managing data rather than extracting valuable information of it. Our groundbreaking solution, DEMS, uses Artificial Intelligence to translates human language business rules to machine code which extracts the data, calculates the measurements, compares them to the target and automatically generates reports and dashboards. DEMS measurements are always connected directly to operational transactions so they are trusted and root cause of failed performance can be easily found. We started developing DEMS in 2007 and since then it has evolved to a fully production solution. Our core aim is to commercialize DEMS-NiXuS, an evolution of DEMS in three aspects of data, community and business rules. It will include a Data Sharing Sphere – enabling extra-organization data sharing; the platform will evolve to become the “social network” for enterprises and will enable self-discovery of rules from data. The prototype is already in place. The BI global market is forecast to reach $18.3 billion in 2017 and grow at a high CAGR of 21%. Founded in 2007, Global Data Excellence is based in Geneva and counts more than 30 major customers in the manufacturing, finance, transport and public sectors. EU funding will help us accelerate the development and ensure that we keep our position as technology leaders in the market.
