CREATINNO · Innovating support ecosystem of creative SMEs at regional level

H2020Status: CLOSED1 January 201931 December 2019EU funding €50,000Call H2020-INNOSUP-2018-2020

Project reacts on a current need of improving support services for creative SMEs which are getting more and more attention at national levels. Even though there are currently some supporting mechanisms that are focused on creative industries, they are not able to grasp all potential innovative approaches and are not flexible enough to keep pace with the quickly growing creative industries. Our project develops the current CCI supporting policies in partner countries. We focus on strengths of creative SME´s in individual regions and we are choosing the best ways of exploiting their potential on national or European scale focused on Spain, British and Czech markets. The project objective is to increase competitiveness and business skills of creative SMEs on European markets. To meet the objectives, Peer Learning activities are planned (one in each partner country). These learning activities will help to easily collaborate and transfer the knowledge among the innovation agencies (CzechInvest, Creative England, BEAZ Bizkaia) within the project time framework of one year. Specific objectives of the project are improving the support for Spain, British and Czech CCI SMEs, improving skills in mapping CCI SMEs and identifying their needs, improving skills in exploiting regional CCI SMEs talent, improving existing supporting programmes using the institutional network, creating new connections and extending an existing network of innovation agencies.
