CAPTAIN · Career Advancement, Policy Impact, and Networking for the MSCA Community
The CAPTAIN project aims to bolster the impact of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) by supporting the operations and goals of the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) while introducing enhanced services. With over 22,000 current and former MSCA fellows, the MCAA serves as a pivotal international non-profit organisation facilitating networking, career advancement, and policy influence within the MSCA community. By harnessing the expertise and experiences of its diverse membership, the MCAA not only fosters professional connections but also contributes to shaping EU policies, particularly those related to MSCA programmes. Building on the successes and insights gained from the MCAA-New-Horizon project (2022-2024), the CAPTAIN project focuses on three core areas of activity aligned with the objectives outlined in the Horizon Europe Work Programme. Through strategic initiatives, it seeks to empower MSCA professionals, elevate the visibility of MSCA initiatives globally, and inform policy development to further enhance the impact of MSCA programmes.
