Worldwide, one-third of all food production is wasted, 15% of which is generated by restaurants, hotels and caterers who lack the tools to reap the benefits of reducing food waste. Our product, Binspector, combines a smart camera, a smart scale and artificial intelligence image recognition technology to automatically register all food going to waste and supply actionable insights to chefs on how to optimize inefficiencies. Integrated with external systems, our product will even pre-fill restaurant ordering systems. We offer our Product-as-a-Service to professional kitchens for a monthly fee with no upfront costs. It will allow an average kitchen to decrease its ecological footprint and food waste level by 70% and easily save over 30,000 annually, resulting in a net profit margin increase of up to 2%.
